Jan Korinek - U Maleho Glena, 2007
is regarded as an accomplished Hammond organ and piano player whose skills are also often called upon by many renowned musicians of Czech and Slovak pop scene. It is, however, in the area of blues and it's related genres where Jan Korinek is the most comfortable. Among his favourites are jazz Hammond organ players such as Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Jimmy McGriff, Shirley Scott, Art Hillery and other musicians who "groove". Second stream of inspiration comes from the blues (e.g. T-Bone Walker, Ray Charles, Eddie Cleanhead Vinson, Big Moose Walker, Earl Hooker). More about his projects at http://www.jankorinek.com
